Reiki
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by “laying on hands” and is based on the idea that an unseen “life force energy” flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one’s “life force energy” is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.
As an affiliate member of The International Center of Reiki, I teach and practice two of centers styles of Reiki: Usui and Karuna. Continuing education units (CEU’s) are available at any time for Registered Yoga Teachers with Yoga Alliance.
Classes and healing sessions are available by appointment.
A 9-Month Journey to Teaching from the Heart
A supportive, transformational training designed for those ready to embody yoga — not just learn it.
200 Hour and 300 Hour Yoga Teacher Trainings
Hybrid Online & In-Person
Our 9-month Yoga Teacher Training weaves together online study, mentorship, and in-person immersions that feel like sacred mini-retreats.
You’ll be guided through a living curriculum — integrating asana, philosophy, anatomy, teaching methodology, and self-inquiry — within a nurturing community of fellow seekers.
Each month unfolds a new layer of the journey: grounding, breath, strength, stillness, voice, and ultimately integration — so by autumn, you emerge not only certified but transformed.
This isn’t about perfection. It’s about presence, practice, and becoming who you already are.

Alexis Price
Alexis Price was born in Vancouver, Canada and immigrated to the United States with her family at a young age. She spent her adolescent years growing up in Yuma, Arizona and when she was in her twenties she moved to Austin, Texas. Alexis has been practicing yoga for over 12 years, and it always provided her a place to feel accepted and connected to herself. Fascinated by the shift that would occur on her yoga mat, Alexis pursued a 200-hour yoga teacher training through Practice Yoga in Austin, Texas.
Shortly after graduating, she started teaching at Studio Y Yoga in Yuma, Arizona where she was able to grow as a yoga teacher providing sessions that incorporated sound healing and gentle styles of yoga such as yin and restorative. Craving more knowledge, Alexis enrolled in the Practice School of Yoga Therapy in 2021 to discover a more therapeutic approach to yoga. Through this process she has learned to adapt yoga asana, pranayama, and meditation to help soothe the symptoms of anxiety and depression, afflictions she has dealt with personally. This approach focuses on nervous system regulation and positive self-regard to reduce suffering. She graduated as a Yoga Therapist in September 2024 and has been able to help individuals on a one-on-one basis find a deeper connection to spirit, reduce pain in their bodies, and live a more fulfilled life. Alexis embodies the practices of yoga that she teaches others, using it to overcome mental and emotional suffering to find peace and balance in her daily life. She is overjoyed to be part of the yoga teacher training program with Transpersonal Health, it is an honor and a privilege to continue to share the wisdom of yoga with like-minded individuals.
Sara Shirk, E-RYT 500, RPYT
With a practice spanning more than 25 years, Sara’s yoga journey has developed into a vibrant blend of conscious awareness, intention, and full-bodied self-expression. Offering experiences that are often described as creatively unexpected, Sara is an adventurous world traveler, a lifelong student, yoga teacher, and mentor of yoga teachers.
Effortlessly, Sara conveys the romantic and subtle meanings of life. Thoughtful and genuine, Sara artfully blends the new with the familiar in an ever-fluid progression of a full-bodied expression in classes, workshops, and trainings. Sara encourages and supports her students as they explore new ways of moving on and off the mat, releasing stuck patterns and limiting beliefs, and learning to navigate challenges with grace and fluidity by moving from a stable center. Considered by many as one who is deeply dedicated and passionate, Sara inspires creativity and connection.
Off the mat, Sara loves spending time with family and friends, traveling, running, and kite surfing.
Currently based out of Lafayette, Colorado, Sara travels locally and nationally to teach, assist, and co-lead public classes and teacher trainings.
“As a teacher, I desire to share the deeper aspects of yoga with my students. Rather than constantly striving to achieve advanced asanas, I aspire to use the mat as an opportunity to cultivate confidence, inner-strength, and self-acceptance, bringing attention to intention – an awareness that students can translate into their daily lives.”
